Hi there,
This is all very exciting - my first posting in my blogspace. Is that the correct terminology?
Not too long ago I completed a NLP Practitioner course. It was fantastic; I learnt so much, not just about the techniques available but a great deal about myself too. That was a bit of a surprise.
I've been thinking about starting a blog for sometime now. I really wnat to share my journey in applying whatI've learnt about NLP, in my own life and with those around me. Tom (my husband) has more or less said that if I don't stop whittering on about it & just get on & bloody well do it he is going to move into the garage! I wouldn't want that.
So here goes................
I know that being an effective NLP Practitioner is a lot to do about listening but do you know how hard that is?!
One of my regular clients had asked me to do her make up for her daughters wedding. So yesterday we got together to experiment. She started telling me about how she and her daughter had fallen out over invites and seating plans. And do you know; before I knew it I was imagining myself at my own daughter's wedding. I have absoulutely no idea what my client said after that.
However at the end of our session she thanked me for listening - I felt such a fraud!
